When I first moved into my new art studio space in Brisbane City I was very eager to execute the fit-out so that it felt warm, enchanting and inviting for my customers. The fit-out felt like quite a big undertaking but I couldn’t be happier with how the space feels and looks. After working alone in my apartment at Palm Beach for two years, I was ecstatic to have a space that I could showcase my work and meet collectors in person, however the moment the fit-out was complete I looked around and realised I actually only had two pieces to hang on my many new walls.
So for the last few months I’ve been working on new original pieces that feel incredibly sacred and refreshing. I think since these pieces are the first to be created in my Brisbane City studio space and in this new period of my life, that they’re all holding a great sense of gravitas which is really beautiful.
Even though I’ve still got a little while to go on most of these pieces, I would love to show you their progression and I can’t wait until an official opening to welcome people in for at least a peak of what’s to come. While it’s only a brief two day offering, I’m really hopeful that you can make it and would love for you to see the space now while we’re still developing and again in a couple of months when I open the studio officially where all of my new originals are stretched and framed and hung.
The two day open studio will feature a selection of fine art prints, artist proof mini prints, archive originals on paper and very new pre-release originals. Prints and originals are available to purchase via eftpos, cash or bank transfer.
While it’s certainly not an official opening or a big party, I think it will be really sweet. Also I’ll have a little morning tea of filter coffee and homemade cookies for my early visitors <3

Q: Can anyone attend?
A: Yes! All are very, very welcome. Whether you’ve collected from me before or you’ve never even been on my website, I’m excited to meet you and tell you about my work.

Q: Why don’t you show your address?
A: Because until I officially open the studio up, I enjoy having a more private space to work each day.

A: Eftpos, cash or bank transfer (lot’s of atm’s in the city)
Q: Where can I park in the city?
A: You can sneak a street park on Saturday’s on my street or the surrounding block. The bus or city cat are great options too to avoid parking altogether— I’m very close to the main CBD stations. There are also lots of paid parking garages with special weekend rates if you’re feeling casual.
Q: Is it an offical opening?
A: No, it’s a relaxed and simple opportunity for you to pop by and see/purchase my work in person, meet me if you haven’t already and hear what I have planned for the space in 2026.

*I can’t help but reflect on a common car trip exchange between 16 year old me and my mum where she would ask if I’m excited for “the party” to which I’d quickly correct her with “it’s not a party, Mum, it’s a gathering”. Our poor mum’s will never receive the patience or grace they allow us.

Q: What do you mean by morning tea?
A: I bought a yellow/orange Moccamaster the week I moved in here and I’m ready to test her capacity! There will be batch brew coffee and there will be a special homemade cookie that I’ve been imagining for ages— yes, I have my fun.
